Looks cool! I like your style :)

This is truly adorable :)
Also I like your style + those soft colours.

vigliacco responds:

Thank you very much!
Never noticed that I used soft colours..I just kind of overlayed colours until it look presentable

I really like your style! Minimalistic, but detailed enough. I can clearly see that you understand how to use colors and shadows to create interesting atmosphere.

Thank you very much for your feedback!

I love your art style! It's simplistic, but at the same time there's a great amount of detail. Your choice of colors is just awesome! :)

That's a really well done piece of art! :)

vincy223 responds:

Thank you very much. :)

That's a really nice picture! I like all the details on the weel and her clothes :) Coloring looks smooth and nice.
Though you could rotate it to make it easier to look at ;)

Thanks so much for your kind comments. I'm not sure why the pictures are uploading sideways. I only can access NewGrounds from my cell phone, so I'm not sure how to get them the right way.

The overall picture looks pretty well - coloring is nice and smooth and the composition looks okay.
But there are few things that could be fixed:

• Shadows looks like they were created using black color. Until you don't know exactly what do you want to achieve, it's better to avoid using this color. Instead I advice you to use colors to shade. There are two ways:
1. pick the main color of the background (in this case blue sky) and create a new layer above the character with "multiply" mode (you can try others too) and create some shadows.
2. pick the color of her skin and change the hue a little (eg. to a little more red), choose the darker version of this color and draw shadows by hand separately on each piece with different colors.

• The grass in front of her - it's too messy and not detailed. It wold be acceptable if it was behind her, but while it's in front of her it looks really bad. I'd recommend to put more effort in detailing it and using thinner brushes.

• I know that artists don't have to know everything about every thing, but in these times we have google to help us. Actually I'm an archer, so I'll just tell you what's wrong here:
- Her right hand should be much closer to her face.
- When holding a bow, it's important to keep both hands in one line. This position is just inaccuate (but if your goal was to picture a person that doesn't really know how to use a bow then okay)
- The bow itself - string, to be more precise - it doesn't bend this way. It should create more of a "<" shape instead of "(" shape. You can try it youlself with a rubber band or something to observe it in real life... or just google a picture.

Well, that's all, I guess. It's a good picutre overall :) Hope I helped somehow!

I like this one too - it has much nicer colors than the previous ones.

Here's a little tip for you about the colors: usually it doesn't look good when *opposite colors are both saturated and put together in one picture - they just bite each other and hurt your eyes. If you're choosing both opposite colors, it's better to make one of them less saturated and more grayish :)

*opposite colors - eg. red-cyan, green-purple, orange-blue

xXLocoXx responds:

Thanks for the tip! However, I find that if you blend opposite colors, say Blue and Orange for a sunset, it looks quite nice, but that's probably just me. :P I'll try that trick in my next pixel art I think. :)

Really good job with all the details! :)

kaley1797 responds:

Thanks! :D

Looks good, I like how the bubbles came out :)

csengea responds:

Thank you!

I like creating digital art. And eating bananas. Bananas are tasty.
