Cool game, it has a lot of options and high replayability despite its simplicity. I like the effort put into graphics (a lot of details and animations) + the music is very catchy and fits the atmosphere.
Although I think I found a bug (?) - when you drunk till he dies on the party, his dead body appears in his room. It would be interesting to see the ending when it actually happens on the party.

Raeldor responds:

Thanks for the review, I really apreciate that!

Also The "bug" is not a bug, I simpy didn't thought of that outcome, sorry. (We can just pretend him going very drunk to his room and then dying there :P) Maybe I'll patch it with an extra ending but right now I'm a little busy with other projects.

Very short and easy game with not pretty graphics and awful sounds (like really, this walking sound is terrible).
But it works.

Games for holidays such as Halloween, Christmas, Thanksgivings... are suppose to be that small. And about the sounds, I just started to learn how to make them. But your review helps and is appreciated !

One card in the third round was completely white. It was something around 0 year.

Anyway, that pretty simple, but fun and educational game. Works pretty well.

AthleticDesign responds:

Thanks, it is a bug I have encountered before and I actually thought I had finally got rid of it. Not so...
Glad you liked the game - you obviously did very well.

It's a fun little game with simple but nice graphics. It has it's flaws though - lack of sounds, no "return to menu" option (or at least I'm too blind to find it), balance problems, some levels have counter how many mobs passed and others don't, no ending - like really, you just end up with wave no 21 and nothing happens. You could add at least simple screen with how many mobs passed, some ratings (eg. 3 stars for no enemies passed, 2 stars for max. 10 etc.) and some back to menu option. I had some problems with placing turrets as well - sometimes I had to click multiple times in one place to place it.
Anyway I kind of like it and hope it'll develop.

Theihe responds:

Thank you for taking time out of your day to review my game!
I very much agree with the game needing a 'return to menu' option, and it will be added asap when the UI is finished, I will work more on it today and hope that the changes will be to your liking!

The reason there isnt a rating system nor a "star" system is because it would be rather hard to implement such a thing before it was properly balanced (something I'm working on with every update)

The inaccuracy when placing towers will be compensated by the player being shown where the tower would land if pressed (i.e a square below the mouse).

I also dont have plans on letting 20 be the last wave, I'd rather push it to 25 which is another reason there isnt an end screen yet. (Perhaps I should add a placeholder screen even if it would be very ugly?)

Thank you so much for your constructive critizism, I'll take it to heart as I continue development!
Best wishes- Dante.

The graphics looks pretty ok, but it's the only one positive thing I see about this game so far. Character moves so slowly that it fits perfectly with this slow, shallow and brainwashing music and those snail-enemies. This slowness makes me bored pretty fast. It gets a bit more interesting later with those black levels, but they still are slow.
In the first level hitbox is not only not hidden (as you noticed yourself), but also moved to the side. Also there's a weird thing with the animation - when you move to the left the gear looks like it should move to the right and vice versa.
Hope it will be better in the future though.

MiazElement responds:

Thankyou for your feed back back i was going for a slow pace kind of game, i will try to make it more fast. and im not very musical talented, im trying to find people to help make better music. This game is made by one person. Sorry if it boards you, i will make my game more fun.

Pretty unplayable - "Video games", "Movies" or "Famous Quotes" say nothing to me - it could be anything really. If there were a list of previous words that you guessed that you can compare with or any kind of more specific hint it may have a chance of being playable.

I like the part with drawing a glyph that's used later in the game though, so 1 star for you :)

Bogden400 responds:

Thanks for the feedback Kanahani, did the "Hints" feature work for you?

I'd like to find ways to make the puzzles easier for those who would like it, while still being challenging for people who don't want to use hints. If the letter hints didn't work for you, what other kinds of hints would you like?

It begins quite nice - at least everything works in first level. Then it starts getting weird - every time when I have to "educate" people (this little fire making minigame) the screen is white (I can still pass it though). Then the level starts again - it's impossible to go further and the fire-making minigame appears out of nowhere (still white screen).
I don't get it, but something clearly doesn't work.

Rictus25 responds:

Yeah, my bad, the game wasn't finished, i fixed some bugs

Not the most beautiful or entertaining thing in the world, but it works.

Alib11 responds:

Thanks it's my first game so I appreciate that! How would you improve it? :)

Nothing too interesting, but it works.
You should change the mouse movement though - it's reverse. It would be much more comfortable and intuitive when camera moves to right when you move cursor to the right etc.

HawkSandwich responds:

That's really weird... I didn't think it was inverted >< Terribly sorry

Nothing specifically interesting or entertaining, but it's a game. And it works. Graphics looks okay too.

Barricados responds:

Thanks for your review, Kanahani!

I like creating digital art. And eating bananas. Bananas are tasty.
